Our website needed a complete revamp, which was a huge task, but Andy made it as hassle free as possible for us.

We’re really happy with the result and it’s helped us communicate with our audiences. With our new online systems we’ve seen a significant increase in online membership and people signing up for automatic renewals which is very positive.

Throughout the process Andy provided us with fabulous service (and continues to do so!) and was really patient and accommodating.

Burrenbeo Trust is a landscape charity dedicated to connecting people to the Burren and our role in caring for it. The Burren is a landscape of geological wonder with a vast variety of plants and animals which are strongly connected to traditional farming practices.

They had a reasonable website that had been around for a number of years. It had been built in an over-complicated Content Management System and it wasn’t mobile responsive, so there were many improvements that could be made.

The trust also had a membership system and wanted to automate some of it to reduce the administration time on their part.

What we did

A full scale migration of content was the first job we needed to do. Hand in hand with this, we proposed a new design and layout to satisfy the updated version of their logo. The site structure was improved – this is an important step and really helps with that all-important SEO.

We set up a system for membership of Burrenbeo Trust that are all handled on the site. There are a number of different options for both business and individuals/schools that can be paid for monthly or annually. These automatically renew (with the required email communications to the members, giving the option to cancel if they wish) unless a single year membership is selected.

Trust membership has increased significantly using this online system.

We also added a way for people to simply donate money to the trust rather than become a member.

The site uses colours familiar to those who know the Burren.
