Native Trees from Seed

A personal project

This is a website that I created out of my passion for trees.

I spent a decade growing trees from seed based in a tree nursery in Northern Ireland. I wanted to put the skills I developed over those years out into the world for evryone to be able to access.

The ‘Native Trees from Seed” website has evolved over the years and is now regularly visited by thousands of people around the world.

Cuimhneamh an Chláir/Clare Memories

An independent, voluntary charity

Cuimhneamh an Chláir / Clare Memories digitally records, archives and shares the oral heritage of Co. Clare, through interviews with the county’s older citizens in its diverse communities.

This new website is designed to showcase a small part of that archive to raise awareness of its existence to the wider public. To do that, we imported 200 interview transcripts along with their associated data (names, interview dates, parish, dates of birth etc). A small amount of this data is visible on the website in the searchable archive.

Campaign to Protect Rural England, Oxfordshire

A migration and new website

CPRE Oxfordshire’s old website was built on an an outdated content management system, so we migrated the whole site over to WordPress and created a new design based on the national franchise theme. This was a large piece of work that we completed on time and much to the client’s satisfaction.

Ulster Beekeepers Association

Local organisation

The Ulster Beekeepers Association represent affiliated beekeeping associations across Northern Ireland and the border counties in the Republic of Ireland.

Their old website couldn’t be managed easily, so a Content Management System was in order to enable them to update the content easily.

Along with the website, UBKA needed a logo refresh and some social media help, setting up Twitter and MailChimp for example, to help them communicate more effectively with existing and potential future members.

The brief was simple, bright, colourful and reflecting the organisation’s role spearheading the promotion and importance of beekeeping in Ulster and beyond.

Bat Conservation Ireland website

A new website

This was a large project that we undertook way back in 2014 to transfer their old website to a new content management system along with a new design based on their new logo. We still look after this website for Bat Conservation Ireland with one of our website maintenance packages. We also help them develop new areas of the website to help with their internal processes and to improve how the website works for visitors.
